If there was ever a perfect moment to worry about getting your legs out to face the dreaded light then it’s now.

I know this topic isn’t exactly to do with styling but if I’m going to be recommending wearing anything that might reveal your pins then it’s only fair I provide a few beauty tips along with it.

I would say I personally fall in the “very white, easily hairy, and slightly veiny” legs category (the veins is something quite recent as they appeared in the form of tiny purple route maps drawn across my legs shortly after giving birth…I know: nice).

Anyway, here are a few tips (some of which are pretty obvious) but it’s sometimes good to remind ourselves of the little basic acts we should include in our daily wash & pamper routine and that can make all the difference.

First up: a good scrub to exfoliate! Exfoliate! Exfoliate!

Gloves: Exfoliating your legs with a glove every day really helps to remove all the dry dead skin leaving it smooth and soft  (focus on areas that are drier like knees, heels and shins):

Some great exfoliating Scrubs:

There’s always the option of discreetly rolling yourself around in the sand on the beach. Works a treat for a glossy smooth skin result…avoid if you’ve got sensitive skin!

Moisturise and Tan: Mixing your daily body moisturiser with a self tan product to start building on a healthy glow look:

A Pedicure: Treat yourself to a pedicure and invest in a few good nail colours (a few juicy reds and some lush nudes).
